A Line of Descent from  Federico II, King of Sicily

This table was produced to display the coat of arms of every family member within. Each generation has been thoroughly researched and the  evidence from the listed sources  is held in the Cilia La Corte Family Archives. The evidence wherever possible is in the form of marriage certificates abstracted from  the original records of the parishes referred to in the table and, in other cases, with photocopies of notarial deeds and extracts from other legal documents.

The identity of Eleonora d'Aragona is conjectural. Rocco Pirri (CRS) states that Giovanni had an unmarried relationship with Eleonora. Recent researchers place her as one of  the offspring of Federico III, King of Sicily.
