Chirikov (Tchirikov): ЧИΡИКОB
This family is descended from the nephew of Khan Berkay who received the name of Peter in baptism. Peter led a holy life and was canonised. His feast day is celebrated on June 30. The great-great-grandson of Saint Peter, Pyotr Ignatievich Chirikov, served the Grand Prince Dmitrii Ivanovich in the Guard Duty Regiment and took part in the battle against Khan Mamay. The Chirikov family is descended from Pyotr Ignatievich and have served the Russian Throne as Boyars, Vice-Regents, Stolniks, Chamberlains, in the office of Okolnichii, and other distinguished positions and were awarded fiefdoms.
